Medio siglo de ECM

El sello discográfico ECM fundado por el músico Manfred Eicher en 1969 en la ciudad alemana de Munich cumple 50 años de andadura con una envidiable vitalidad y loable acierto en lo referente a la puesta en circulación de grabaciones en su mayoría de jazz, aunque en la compañía también se editan discos de otros géneros musicales, algunos de los cuales constituyeron la punta de lanza de estilos entonces desconocidos pero hoy instaurados entre las preferencias de diferentes generaciones.

Con motivo del mencionado aniversario, este año se produce el lanzamiento de la colección ECM Touchstones, es decir el rescate de algunas de las grabaciones más representativas de la discográfica germana.

Los discos del primer lanzamiento de dicha serie son 25, álbumes en los que aparecen músicos fundamentales de las cuatro últimas décadas del siglo XX
