April Wine, quinteto canadiense, alcanzó su mayor apogeo a nivel discográfico con el larga duración The Nature Of The Beast, noveno elepé de la banda de Nueva Escocia, que contenía la exitosa balada Just Between You Me, todo un guiño al rock adulto y al público roquero de los grandes estadios siempre atento a los solos de guitarra eléctrica con estilo. Sin embargo, el álbum también ofrecía rock duro muy en la línea norteamericana, de ejecución limpia, guitarras templadas y buenas melodías, como demuestran los cinco miembros del grupo en las piezas All Over Town, Sing Of The Gypsy Queen, Crash And Burn o Bad Boys.
