El sello Rough Trade lanza un completo recopilatorio de tres discos compactos que recogen 87 piezas, tres horas de música.
Bajo el título Halcyon Days, aparecen grupos y solistas de acreditada fama dentro del ambiente musical británico de los años sesenta que iba a tener una trascendente éxito dentro y fuera de las fronteras del Reino Unido. La holgada relación de artistas incluye asimismo otros intérpretes menos conocidos pero no por ello entusiastas en su labor en pro de la música popular orientada hacia los jóvenes. Aquellos sonidos abiertos a diferentes darán paso a la vanguardia y el progresismo roquero de los años 70.
