La banda británica T. Rex protagonizó en marzo de 1972 dos actuaciones en las que se colgaron los carteles de completo. El evento sirvio a Marc Bolan para desarrollar sesiones acústicas en solitario para las estaciones de radio locales. El grupo apareció regularmente en la BBC durante todo el año, y grabó sesiones especiales para Radio 1 y Top Of The Pops. T. Rex terminó el año con los sencillos Children Of The Revolution y Solid Gold Easy Action y el T. Rex Fan Club 1972 Christmas Record Flexi Disc, que se incluye en las cajas en su totalidad.
