El legado discoográfico de Al Stewart (1945, Glasgow, Escocia) queda recogido en la edición de lujo The Admiralty Lights, que incluye 50 discos, desde sus comienzos en 1964, hasta su éxito a nivel mundial en la década de 1970, pasando por las grabaciones realizadas en 2009.

La  caja de lujo recoge los  21 álbumes de estudio de Al Stewart,  remasterizados a partir de las transferencias de cinta originales, alojados en fundas originales y presentados al  estilo LP de lujo. Se presentan 18 discos con grabaciones de conciertos en directo, inéditas de 1970 a 2009, tres discos de sesiones de la BBC de 1965 a 1972 y 8 discos de maquetas, descartes y rarezas.

La entrega se completa con un libro de tapa dura de 160 páginas, que contiene notas del autor y experto en Al Stewart, Neville Judd, y fotografías, folletos y publicidad inéditos. Colin Elgie facilitó una ilustración original para la cubierta exterior de la caja.

El resto d la edición de lujo se complet con un libro de colección de 24 páginas que detalla todas las grabaciones raras del conjunto. Una impresión de The Year Of The Cat, firmada individualmente por Colin Elgie. Estampado diseñado por Colin Elgie. Cartel de los primeros años y también un cartel de los últimos días del siglo XX.
