Como complemento al documental Zappa, sobre la vida del músico y compositor estadounidense Frank Zappa (1940-1993) está preparada la salida a la venta de una caja de 5 vinilos en formato LP de 180 gramos. En la entreta se incluyen 69 canciones en total, de las cuales 12 grabaciones son inéditas del archivo de Zappa junto con su actuación de 1978  en el Saturday Night Live. Asimismo hay 24 canciones adicionales de Zappa de su extenso catálogo de cuatro décadas. Son piezas de los sellos Straight / Bizarre Records de Zappa como No Longer Umpire, de Alice Cooper y The Captain's Fat Theresa Shoes, de The GTO's. El lanzamiento discográfico se completa con dos composiciones clásicas de Edgard Varese e Igor Stravinsky, a las que se añaden 26 pistas de la partitura original compuestas en la actualidad por John Frizzell para el documental.
